Fredericksburg Parks, Recreation & Events runs summer camps across the city, based at the Dorothy Hart Community Center along with local parks and school sites. Offerings range from traditional day camps to sports clinics and specialty themed camps, serving ages from preschool through teens, with many day camps in the 5-12 range running roughly 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Registration is handled online, and it is a city-run program.
