Powered by GoogleThis is not a safe environment for gymnasts based on direct observations & personal experiences. My daughter quit this gym due to emotional abuse from the head coach. No level of skill progression justifies compromising a child’s well-being. Intimidation: Retaliation – Multiple gymnasts said they tried to leave but were “blackballed” with negative comments from the head coach, forcing them to stay or quit gymnastics. Unnecessary screaming –Witnessed compulsory gymnasts break down in tears after being yelled at for failing skills. Fear-based control – The head coach stated he kicked out the cheer team, could get rid of the director, & that no one (including USAG) could hold him accountable. Emotional Misconduct: Humiliation – At a meet, an assistant coach pointed at athletes & asked if they were embarrassed after beam falls—despite the team placing 2nd overall. Humiliation – Gymnasts were forced to remain on events for extended periods after mistakes, especially following meets. Mind games – My daughter was falsely accused of ripping her grips to avoid competing. Replacement grips were returned too late, requiring a paid private just to break in the grips so she could compete. Ignoring – The head coach often refused to engage with my child & even sent her home without explanation. Fear and intimidation – When my child followed instructions to report illness, the head coach threatened to remove her from the team for “disrespect.” Belittling achievements – Head coach told my daughter her 9.600 bar score was a “fluke” and undeserved after seasons of struggle with bars. Verbal abuse – Athletes were called embarrassing, a waste of time, embarrassment to their generation, and worse. Negative talk – The coach spoke poorly about other gymnasts during privates. Minimizing/Denying Care: Basic needs denied – My child was ignored when asked for simple first aid for her leg during bars. Isolation: Controlling friendships – The head coach told certain gymnasts not to talk to or be friends with others. No team support – Gymnasts were discouraged from helping &cheering for each other and were advised to stop or sent to rope. Division – The coach openly said to gymnast that he " did not like my child & she was annoying". Unhealthy comparisons – The head coach frequently compared gymnasts, saying only certain athletes were “college material” & asking others why they could not perform like certain teammates. Using Parents: Blame shifting – Parents are led to believe issues are the child’s fault rather than the environment. Physical Misconduct: Painful stretching – I observed gymnasts pushed into painful stretches while crying. Accusations of faking injuries – My child was told her doctor’s note was fake. Toxic culture – Families fear retaliation, blacklisting or being forced to quit; prior complaints to the director brought no change. Management Issues: Public humiliation – Staff falsely claimed my child’s practice leo hadn’t arrived in front of the team over a near-due payment. Public ridicule – I was criticized in a group chat for a misapplied payment. Unauthorized debits – Cash was accepted for snacks, yet card on file was still charged. Inaccurate invoices – Billing errors were frequent & caused repeated confusion and delays. Escalations: Failure to address concerns – The director was addressed about the head coach's behavior; the response focused only on fees & immediate disenrollment, with no concern for athlete welfare. Exploitation – The director used a silhouette image of my daughter on shirts supposedly for team support but then sold them for profit. Privacy concerns –Staff posted a video exposing my daughter inappropriately & shared her full name publicly on social media, had to deleted all accounts . I do not recommend this gym. 3-6 months you’ll find out parents! PS All TRUTHS reported to Safe Sport. Never happy! You’re still acting delusional but you’re really mad I spoke up! I don’t need backup, I got proof. Now go ask compulsory & excel parents who has contacted me on instagram 😭 The Receipt Queen
What a place!!! We had a birthday here on a Saturday and wow! The staff are absolutely amazing, they go above and beyond. The children had a blast. It’s 1000% a 10/10 experience. Rain or shine. Children are inside and having a blast. Staff make it easy and they are so helpful. Just a great place overall!
Not That happy. I thought after talking with I think the owner or manager or something that they will work with kids on the pre-team and get them you know ready for you know team level to compulsory. You know all that good stuff. My daughter's already on a competition team in another gym. She's XL bronze. We wanted to make the transfer over we waited about 30, 30 45 minutes because they were in the middle of a practice understandably and the lady that evaluates my daughter came and got her. I want to think for maybe 10 minutes. asked her to run like five laps. She did ask her to do pullover and a back hip circle on bar which she did. She's been doing that for 2 years now And on bean did her handstand dismount. And on vault did her straight jump thing which she can do a handstand to a flat back and a front hand spring. She also has her front hand spring on the floor and sometimes her front tuck. We're learning on landing it amongst a lot of other things. Well after those few things she comes out. So it's about 10 minutes not even. And I got a message the next day. Yeah she's not going on preteen and I'm like confused because all the stuff she asked my daughter to do my daughter's been doing it for over a year. It doesn't make any sense to me because I looked up level 2 skills and my daughter has all of them. Does she have to work on cleaning stuff up? Probably so you know when you're at a new gym trying out you get nervous this and that I got no response. I've only given three stars because the lady at the front desk was as sweet as can be. And the lady that I've been talking to in the messages did sort of give me hope but that's kind of gone now. I thought like they are with working with girls that have a dream and want to go farther. But I honestly feel like if you don't come perfect or have the skills down Pat, they are not going to work with you they want you to know everything? we did settle on another gym. I just wanted to say that I was really disappointed cuz I had high hopes for this one. I had faith and I had hope. Just very disappointed. I do want to add just in case they come back and say well. My daughter didn't do this or didn't do that. It's not just me a mom you know obviously yeah I believe my daughter can do anything she wants to but I also have videos of her doing this weekend when she's practicing cuz our whole house is up as like a gymnastics studio and she's on the trampoline doing front tuck front handsprings. She even did a back walk over front walk over. Kick over her pivot turns. So I do have videos of it all. I just really think that day they were busy. Because I don't know how 10 minutes you can decide my daughter's not talented. Cuz every other tryout she's had cuz she's made two teams at different studios, a pre-team at a more advanced studio. And she had to do like two full practices at all. Those studios like a total of 4 hours before they decided where they were going to place her.
Amazing experience having my son’s 8th birthday party here! The facility is amazing. The staff was SO sweet and helpful. The kids had a BLAST! From the booking process to the time we finished, it was an easy and seamless process. I 100 percent recommend.
