It is gut wrenchingly sad the manner in which the children have been treated. I have spoken privately with a number of parents and it seems as if though we have ran into similar concerns. If you are considering sending your child here I would have a serious discussion with your family if you can truly trust the staff to ensure the wellness of your children. We will be terminating our contract and now renewing for this summer.

I enjoy the Y - however something NEEDS to be done to monitor the young children that run around the weight room and workout area. It’s distracting - frustrating - unsafe - and makes me want to cancel my membership.

I was very disappointed with my experience at the YMCA in Findlay. I have a national membership and have already used it in Texas, Tennessee, Ohio, and Virginia with no issues at all. However, in Findlay I was charged $6 per day because my son was with me. This was never mentioned beforehand. I only found out after using the facility, which made me feel forced to pay. This experience brought multiple disappointments: different rules than other YMCA locations, lack of transparency, and being charged without prior notice. This is not what I expect from a national YMCA membership.

Friendly, helpful staff. Multi gym is pretty well equipped. Main pool is nice enough, as is steam room. All getting somewhat old now, but they have a great plan to open a brand new building next year, which I’m sure will be great. So, it makes sense that they are not spending a lot to upgrade this building at present.

First ever time at this YMCA. Went to watch a company sponsored basketball tournament. It is definitely an older building, but still seemed to be kept up nicely. Both of their pools looked nice. Basketball courts were nice as well. They even still have racketball courts here. It is kind of a maze to get around the place, but they did have maps located around the building.
