The Field Institute of Taos (FITaos) is a nonprofit offering summer nature and adventure day camps for youth roughly ages 6 to 16 (entering first grade and up) in and around El Prado and Taos Ski Valley. One- and two-week sessions blend natural sciences and local culture with hiking, camping, backpacking, and bike adventures, exploring themes like archaeology, river ecology, wildlife biology, and orienteering.
