Jenny is an incredible and talented teacher! She is truly an artist and we’re so lucky to have found her. Our daughter loves her and is learning so much! We couldn’t ask for a better teacher and studio for her to grow as an artist!

We love this art studio and the teacher, "Miss Jenny". She relates to each student as an individual and helps discover creativity in new ways. My daughter has been going here for almost 7 years! Highly reccommend for children and adults.

My son began taking art classes here originally as a way to add art to our homeschool curriculum. Miss Jenny holds classes during homeschool hours and it's the perfect way to add that creativity to the school week. When we switched him to a charter school, he was able to easily switch times from during the day classes to after school. I began looking for an art teacher because my son enjoys drawing. For the longest time, he'd sit down with a Doodle Pro and draw a picture as quickly as he could, erase it, then draw the next one in his mind, erase it, and so on. He has these stories in his head that he sees in pictures and he just wants to get the pictures down quickly as if he were telling the stories out loud. I wanted him to have the chance to grow his artistic skill as well as be introduced to more techniques and learn other things having to do with art. And there was no way he was going to get that from me. When he first went to Miss Jenny, all of the pictures he drew for us here at home were either Lego-fied (people had Lego bodies and Lego hands) or Angry Bird-ified (every story ever told, every scene could be turned into some version of good vs evil and therefore Birds vs Pigs). Miss Jenny allowed him to draw what he wanted in the beginning so he'd get used to the environment, get used to her, learn to trust her, and learn to...well, learn from her. Learn to take her suggestions. I didn't find Egg In Nest Studio until late April 2014 and the classes for the school year ended a month later. However, those classes were enough to convince us that it was worth continuing with Miss Jenny even with our son in a charter school and getting art as part of his school curriculum. He now learns things at school, takes them to Miss Jenny, and she can help him dive further into the concepts that fascinate him. Egg in Nest Studio is excellent because Miss Jenny can meet the student where they are, and work with them to grow to where they can be with their art.

3 years ago I was looking for art classes for my daughter and I was having a difficult time finding the right place. We had tried the franchise places and the mini camps that our town offers, but she got quickly bored with those and I didn't feel that she was having a sophisticated and enriching art experience. An artist friend recommended Ms. Jenny for lessons and as soon as I met her and talked about her approach, I knew we had found the right place. She provides a multi-level environment where students work at their own pace and have the freedom to choose their own projects while being taught fine arts skills. Ms. Jenny is not only an excellent art teacher, but she is an amazing, current, working artist whose work is exhibited in the local galleries. Her studio and classes have an authenticity, personal feel and warmth that you will not find in any commercialized art center for children. She also provides art exhibit experiences for the students to display their work and museum tours that enrich their appreciation of art. I highly recommend Egg In Nest and look forward to many more years of wonderful art experiences.

My son has been taking art instruction from Jenny Eggleston for over eleven years. Even now as a busy teenager, he looks forward to his weekly art class. Jenny maintains a relaxed studio atmosphere that allows each student the opportunity to excel as an individual. She provides her students with a wide variety of experiences from local art museum tours, a yearly art show and unique summer camp classes. Jenny's art classes are one of my son's most enriching and rewarding extracurricular activities.
