Camp Liberty is the summer day camp of the Educational Arts Team, a Jersey City nonprofit arts-education organization founded in 1974. Set on five acres inside Liberty State Park, the camp runs four two-week sessions, Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 3:30pm, for children ages 6-12, with a separate Teen Program for ages 13-15. Activities span theater, arts and crafts, dance, music, vaudeville, magic, puppetry, gardening, swimming and sports including basketball, soccer, handball and softball. The site has an in-ground pool, ball fields, handball courts, a playground and a theatrical stage.

★Alexandra Anchante Falcones (Ale)This camp was giving out scholarships to special needs children to attend. Unfortunately they are NOT prepared to handle children who are special needs. They are extremely unqualified ! I did NOT like the way my child was treated here! After a week I ended up not sending him anymore.
★Daniel SantosWorst camp my son ever attended. This camp is not prepared to handle all types of children with diverse personalities. They will incriminate all behavior they deem unusual or inappropriate. Any little small infraction. These are little children we are talking about. They make mistakes and need guidance. They will attack the parents at all cost and embarrass them in public, judging and condemning them and the child. Very unprofessional and under qualified. I went running from this place in disgust. They shouldn't be allowed to treat anyone this way. It's also mostly a female staff of prejudice and unqualified teenagers who don't know anything about children and how to handle various situations. If I were you, don't risk it. It's not worth your time and money.

It is a wonderfully ran facility with different activities being summer camp as their primary purpose but does offer other events, activities, programs and functions.
