Eaton Area Park and Recreation District runs Eaton's Explorers, a state-licensed childcare day camp for children ages 5-12 at 1675 3rd Street. Camp runs Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. across the summer, with themed weeks and activities spanning water play, sports, outdoor and gym games, and crafts. Families can register for the full summer at a discount or week by week, with a nonrefundable $25 deposit per week.

The pool was our primary use for the day and it is pretty decent size with a kids zone, lazy river loop, a general swimming area, and second general swimming area with some water sports stuff like a hoop, and the hot tub. The water for the pool could use to be a bit warmer, some of the younger kids looked like they were turning blue by the end of an hour. the hot tub was spacious and about the perfect temp.

The head lifeguard lady was very thorough in evaluating whether my kids were ready for the deep end - they were not! I was happy that kids’ safety is their first priority. Plenty of seating for parents, I was able to kick back and chill while the kids swam and trust that they were safe. It also wasn’t super crowded so that was great. The price was extremely reasonable too! Highly recommend and will be back.
