Powered by GoogleI just recently started actually using the equipment and pool area here to work out. Amazing facility, love the "updates" since I used the pool and equipment over a decade ago (around 14 years (something like that)). The staff at the front desk were super friendly and helpful.
Great pool for young kids. Nice locker rooms and ptivate family/all gender locker rooms available. A good place for birthday parties for young kids. Nice exercise equipment, several racquetball courts, and lots of classes are offered.
This place is awesome! We have never used this as the rec center. However, we bring our daughter to kids night out almost every Saturday, since Windsor's rec center did not renew their contract this year, and she's been making a new friend almost every weekend, and she really looks forward to these nights. We feel comfortable leaving her there because we know she's in good hands! They even have police on staff during these evenings. They have options for dinner and toy purchases and all kinds of things to do and she has a blast every time! Plus, it gives us a chance to spend a few hours to go on a date or do whatever we want and we know it's really fun for her, too! You can't beat $20 for babysitting for 3 and a half hours on a Saturday night! Especially with everything they have for your kids to do! I do know that they recently added a red light therapy bed, medical grade, to the center for the people who go there to work out. Which is incredible! And the prices are very reasonable! So I've been considering traveling to the chilson center to workout, just for that reason. 😄
Overall a great establishment and the front desk people are always helpful. I wish the hot tubs were a little warmer and the weight room was a tad larger so you could lift without feeling crowded.
Nice place and not too often overcrowded. Exercise gyms are nice. Very good range of equipment. Friendly staff. Men’s locker room is disgusting especially the cleanliness of the newly remodeled showers and the floors are always filthy. For sure you will get athletes foot here if you are not very careful. I’ve been going here for over 20 years on and off. Always has been good but the cleanliness has definitely gotten much worse over the years. Pool area is extremely slippery. I definitely think it’s a cleanliness issue. Over all tho the place is well used and I’m sure it’s a challenge to try to keep moderately clean. Outside concrete all around the hot tub area doesn’t get much tidying up neither. It’s too bad. Was very nice and better kept up not too many years ago.
