The Boulder YMCA is a branch of the YMCA of Northern Colorado and one of the Camp Noco day camp sites, serving the Boulder/Gunbarrel area. Camp Noco is a traditional day camp for ages 5-12 with camp songs, nature activities, archery, gaga ball, sports and games, Color Wars, STEM and arts. The association also offers Kinder Camp for ages 3-6 with STEAM projects, games, swimming, art and outdoor play, and Camp Tumbleson Lake, a 300-acre outdoor adventure camp 20 miles from Boulder near Ward, with options spanning ages 3-16.

The water exercises are very effective, from what I've seen, and I've heard that the cardio/weight-lifting classes are stellar. All of the staff members who I have encountered are very nice, friendly and helpful. There is a good variety of classes, programs to choose from.
★Katie DunnThe gym itself and the staff are nice, but the app and website, which are necessary to register for classes, are consistently broken. They have had several technology reboots designed to fix these issues. Each one requires creating a new account and re-signing a bunch of liability waivers and each reboot works just as poorly, if not worse, than the last version. It's a shame that simple technology which has been around for decades is preventing an otherwise good organization from the providing services members pay for.
★★Desiree W.If you need an issue resolved don't count on this place, the staff here isn't the greatest. The member manager Lisa doesn't seem to do anything. I have had an issue with my account that I need resolved and I've told the front desk many times. They all tell me they will escalate it to their manager, but she doesn't seem to care. Also the Pilates teacher Bob is always making inappropriate jokes in the lobby and hallways. I even wonder if this place has an HR department because some of the things he gets away with saying are terrible, and that's saying a lot since I'm from Philly. The lifeguards are nice though and the sauna in the women's locker room is nice too.
★★★★★Shannon CarpenterWe spent the day here for a craft fair. We were one of 100 booths for a Christmas arts and crafts event. The place seemed to be clean, the bathrooms were clean and kept up. It seems as if the place was going through a renovation period… I’m not sure ? If I lived in Boulder or close by I would probably go back and use the facilities.
