Rocky Mountain Village is Easterseals Colorado's fully accessible, barrier-free camp in Empire, serving more than 1,200 children and adults with disabilities each year. Summer campers swim, fish, hike, zip-line, cook outdoors, do arts and crafts, sports, music and drama, dances, day trips and overnight camping, with travel-camp options. Programs are designed so campers with disabilities can take part in every aspect of camp. Outside the summer season the site hosts weekend respite programs and functions as a rental retreat facility.

Hidden gem for disc golf. Very challenging course. Extremely scenic and beautiful especially during fall when the leaves change. Baskets are kind of bad, and tee pads are short or dirt. Hosts of property are very nice.

We rented out the camp for our wedding and it was perfect. Staff set everything up and went above and beyond. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue.

First time here and I am at the land, views and people. If you love nature come by this area!

My autistic daughter LOVED going to Camp Shriver for the first time. Samantha was so excited and sad to leave. But she's looking forward to coming back, unless we move out of state.

Exception human beings make this place an inspiration to us all. The care that this staff exerts to ensure that exceptional children and adults get to experience nature and have a solid camp experience parallels nothing I have ever seen. If you get a chance to visit see if you can meet Tom and Houston (the Therapy dog). They are among many bright souls up there who make this world a better place.
