The East Longmeadow Recreation Department runs Pine Knoll Day Camp, an outdoor summer day camp for children ages 3-12 at the town's Pine Knoll Recreation Area. Camp runs Monday-Friday 9:00am-4:00pm, with before care 7:30-9:00am and after care 4:00-5:00pm; a half-day option is offered for children entering Kindergarten, while full-day camp serves those entering grades 1-6. The department also runs XTREME Teen Adventure Camp (XTAC) for students entering grades 6-9, Tuesday-Thursday 8:30am-4:00pm, alongside Pine Knoll pool memberships, swim lessons and youth sports. A Youth Scholarship Fund is available to help families with program fees.
