East Bay Dance Center in Oakland (established 1990) runs a summer day camp for ages 4 to 16 featuring ballet, tap, hip hop, tumbling and African dance plus drama and art. Camp runs Monday-Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with before-care from 8 a.m.; rates are about $220 per week or $55 per day, and financial aid is offered.
