DVHS Robotics, the student-run robotics club at Dougherty Valley High School in San Ramon (FIRST team 5776, founded 2007), runs a summer robotics camp introducing middle school students to engineering, coding and hands-on STEM on the beginner-friendly VEX IQ platform. Sessions meet Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.; campers work in small teams to complete challenges, program hardware and build an original robot, then compete in a final tournament. Instructors are club members with world-championship VEX experience, and the camp is open to students from any Bay Area school.
