Durant Road Musical Theatre, founded in 1999 and now based at 8471 Garvey Dr in northeast Raleigh, teaches musical and theatrical classes for ages 6-18 and runs summer camps and track-out camps alongside year-round productions, group voice lessons and piano lessons. Its junior theatre group travels each January to the Junior Theatre Festival in Atlanta. Camp dates, sessions and daily hours are not published on the site.

They have loved them all! Debbie and Dean take a lot of pride in their work and really want the kids to work hard so they can be proud of themselves. Every performance I see, I am always wowed at how amazing the kids are from the young ones to the teens! The work they do with the competitive team is fantastic and I was blown away by the performances (and so were the judges awarding 1st place all around). It is an amazing experience for these kids to compete with others from all around the country!
