I am completely disappointed in the staff at this facility me & my family has been attending this facility for 4 till 5 years. And we have never been treated with such insulting treatment & by the same staff who have been at the facility the entire time. This facility is not letting Black people in and they are making up a bunch of excuses and rules to why we can’t come in. Me and my children sat on the side of the building and watched for two hours after they told us we couldn’t come in because the pool doesn’t open till 1. They let every single white person and white family in and sent away many black people and their families up until I confronted them and they made a bull crap reason till why we couldn’t come in or the other black people. After I confronted them about why My Black family couldn’t come in after that they started to send white people away saying the pool doesn’t open until 1p.m. Than to try and run me and my children away the set a bucket full of chemicals in front of us the bucket read hazardous chemicals. I am so upset that me and my children had to go through this in 2025 where we should be treated with respect and as equals. I pray this changes for The African American community and that the staff are African American themselves self and are treating their own people with such disrespect. African American people are hard working people who’s taxes have keep this facility open for decades we should never be treated this way.

I enjoy this place. So many pluses. The most important is that I feel safe in my Blackness. I don’t have to code switch or wear my dual identities. I have had my interactions with the staff and they are knowledgeable and professional with a wide slice of respectful and cool at the same time. I recommend this for stl loyalty.

Just completed some work on the alarm system today and was amazed at the progress made of the inside of the building. The locker rooms have been totally remodeled new dressing room stalls, floors and doors look awesome as well as the rest of the inside all freshly painted. Very nice money well spent.

It's been forever since I've been to Marquette I really remember the last time that's how long went last weekend and it was actually very nice and relaxing everybody there was friendly will definitely be back again but make sure you register before you go

This place seems well kept up since I was a kid. I'm 72 and I stopped in there to sign up my granddaughter and myself. She is going to a school program from 1 to 5 so we haven't been able to get there. I went to volunteer but now she has this program for 4 weeks. I'm still hoping I can get there to help. The swim instructor is so nice. I hope he gets to see this because I hope I can help him. I haven't forgotten about helping out.
