Grandson plays roller hockey there. The rinks are fine, however, too many kids skating about outside of rinks and around people walking inside. Very loud as well.....

Terrible birthday party experience. The kids had the soccer field to play and the Vetta staff would not let the kids play. The kids were trying to kick the ball and the staff kept running the ball and kicking it away from the kids just kicking it back and forth to each other. It was so cruel to the kids who just wanted to play soccer. We left in tears.

Signed my son up for instructional hockey at this location. So poorly run. Different coach every week. Different players. Some weeks there wasn’t a coach. Some weeks, only 4 players showed up. Didn’t teach positions to the kids or anything. He is 13. He is playing with kids that look like they’re 25 and have been playing for years. So poorly run. Never coming back

The people are super friendly work with the children during practice and games. They have different types of seating to watch the game, so you can usually find something that fits your comfort. The only negative is the roof leaks in heavy rain, which can cause some hazards for the kids playing hockey.

Vetta 70 is a fantastic establishment. When compared to the other local hockey rinks it is not even a competition. This is in large part due to the hockey manager Jeremy Bruce. Jeremy takes it on himself to handle each issue personally and patiently. He is always available to the point he knows almost every consistent player by name. If you are a new player looking to learn the game and do not know anybody he will create a team of similar players to make you feel comfortable, and if the team needs a little help as a veteran of the game himself he will put himself on the roster to help them get through some tough games. This is not to say he runs through the lower leagues, he goes out of his way to be as unselfish as possible setting everyone on the team up for goals, all the while teaching the new players and helping them gain confidence. When it comes to the kids team that is where he really shines. He runs everything from the kids local tournament team to the newest kids joining the learn to skate program. He goes to every out of town tournament to coach them and is at every local practice teaching them every step of the way and he has the skill to back it up. This is all on top of the normal everyday issues that occur in the men's leagues such as teams backing out of games and the lack of goaltender, he always shifts schedules around and fixes teams to make it a positive environment and enjoyable experience for everyone. The man has really put his heart and soul into this sport to help it grow in the area. If you are in the area and are thinking about getting back into hockey or checking it out for the first time, swing by Vetta 70 and make sure you ask for Jeremy Bruce, you will not be disappointed.
