Dunedin Youth Sailing Association is a nonprofit offering youth sailing for ages 8 to 15, primarily through fall and spring programs. DYSA does not run summer sailing itself; summer youth sailing in the area is offered instead by the City of Dunedin, City of Safety Harbor, and Clearwater Community Sailing Center. Instruction focuses on small-boat sailing fundamentals.

Powered by GoogleIt’s great to see this exists in Dunedin. It adds a touch of class to our downtown and Marina. I see the boats out there all the time the kids look like they’re having a blast.. I don’t have kids, but if I did, I’d make him join this and get them out on the water instead of playing video games all damn day. They can get some fresh air and sunshine and actually learn a skill like sailing. Dunedin is a fabulous place to live in the downtown is great. This place just adds a little more to it. Five stars for Dunedin youth sailing Association!
A great place for kids to learn to sail
Best 420 afternoon instructor
I didn't want to learn to sail, my mom made me do it 9 years ago! It turns out the instructors and volunteers at DYSA made learning to sail fun for me. Each session my mom signed me up, my confidence grew. I mastered the skill of sailing my own boat fast. Now in high school, my friends and I are competing in regattas all over the state representing Dunedin High School. DYSA makes this possible. I have learned so much about life through sailing...DYSA has been here for me!
