Manatee River Youth Sailing in Palmetto runs a summer sailing program for youth ages 6 to 16, with one- and two-week sessions Monday through Friday. Morning half-day sessions run 9 a.m. to noon and all-day sessions 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., teaching sailing fundamentals on the Manatee River. Campers progress through pram and dinghy classes.
