DT Nation Dance & Tumble, formerly Dance Trap, is a studio at 8320 North Drive in Mount Pleasant teaching ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, pointe, hip hop and tumbling to students ages 2-18 across recreational and competition programs. Its published summer schedule is a set of weekly classes in hip hop, technique, ballet, tumbling and stretch-and-conditioning rather than a day camp.

DT Nation Dance & Tumble is a dance studio located in Mount Pleasant NC right outside of Concord. It’s always been so hard to find ways to get my son out and socialized with other kiddos. He is 3 with Down Syndrome and is more around the 18-24 month cognitive level. DT welcomed him into their pre-dance class last season and Leo absolutely loved it but struggled to keep up with the other 3 year olds in his class and required me to stay with him. This summer they were offering a buddy and me class for littles up to 2 years old. After talking to the owner she gladly welcomed Leo to register even tho technically he is “older”. We had our first class yesterday and it was amazing! Leo fit right in with the younger kiddos and was able to socialize. It was also so nice to have other mamas to chat with and not be judged for what Leo couldn’t do because developmentally he was right on track with the other kids in the class. I can’t say enough how amazing and welcoming the staff has been. They all welcome Leo the second he walks in the door and never once have I felt that he was looked at as different. Not only that but the other mamas and the older kiddos always include us and ask Leo to play with them. My mama heart is just so grateful and happy to have found a dance studio that welcomed us and included us. The owner is an absolute sweetheart. I can’t recommend this business enough.
