Dixon Valley Retreat Center is an awesome facility. We had our first church camp here and it was such a blessed time in faith, fellowship, and fun. Everyone from small children to adults enjoyed and is hoping to come back next year. The staff is very kind and hospitable. It is such a blessing to know that there are camps that focus on spirituality and you don’t have to drive out of state to gain a wonderful experience.
Went there for our Churchs mens retreat. The staff was so nice and helpful. They went out there way to make sure our time there was remarkable!
Dickson Valley Camp and Retreat Center is an amazing place. The property is remarkable and their facilities are top notch. Situated just south of Sandwich, IL DVCRC is relatively close to the Chicagoland area and not hard to find. Like an all inclusive resort this is a camp and retreat center option that will support your group plans and expectations. Creative features include a man-made lake and waterfront, access to the Fox River, sport fields and indoor field house, dining and craft facilities, trails, and wonderful professional staff. Check it out when you are in the area!
Such a great place for our annual men's retreat. They have so many indoor and outdoor activities - a gym that we played basketball and volleyball in until after midnight, a climbing wall, a sledding/tubing hill, laser tag, and much more! They also had several great meeting rooms, and a chalet to house our whole group! A good time away. Only "downside" (if you can call it that) was cell reception on the grounds is spotty.
