I use the Egym circuit training program. A complete workout targeting all major muscle groups in 22 minutes using 12 different machines. Friendly and helpful staff and positive and happy spirits from other members. I've recommended Desert Foothills Y to others. I'm glad I joined!

Ava and her male cohort, Jake, at the front desk are always cheering and welcoming. I have met many friends playing pickleball and working out. You can remain anonymous or get to know others n your fitness journey. As a Realtor I know how important referrals and reviews are. I have brought clients on tours of my DFH Y to show it off!

Trainers , staff, and fellow members are all very friendly, Facility is Spotless, and our particular trainer, Nathan, gives us both a great, as well as ever changing work out.

I’ve had a disappointing experience at this YMCA due to how staff interact with members on the gym floor. I was yelled at by Jana for briefly sitting on a piece of gym equipment, which felt unnecessary, unprofessional, and frankly embarrassing. I understand the need to keep equipment moving and ensure safety, but there’s a huge difference between politely reminding someone of gym etiquette and raising your voice at a paying member. This wasn’t respectful or welcoming, and it made the environment feel hostile instead of supportive. Gyms should be places where people feel encouraged and comfortable, not scolded like children. A simple, calm request would have accomplished the same thing without alienating members. I hope management addresses how staff communicate, because this kind of interaction makes people not want to come back.

This location is the only one I have been to so far; but, it is a great gym. I would recommend it to anyone. It offers something for everyone. Pool, equipment, classes, personal training, access to the gym for a variety of sports. The equipment is high quality, up-to-date and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful.
