Day camp for grades K-8 run by Elevate Martial Arts in Glendale, pairing martial arts instruction with games, physical challenges and creative play led by the studio's coaches. Camp runs weekdays 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in June and July, with early drop-off and late pick-up available. A $25 registration fee includes a camp shirt.

Early drop off & late pick up really helped on days when we had to work. Because we are a part of the Ucelo Martial Family, we have complete trust in Mrs. Sarah Ucelo. She & her team created a wonderful environment full of games, team activities, & character building confidence. It was clear from day 1 that this was a great idea as our son did not want to leave :). His only solace was that this was day 1 of a 3 week adventure. Summertime can be challenging to keep your kids entertained and this experience removed that challenge. Mrs. Sarah and her team afforded him the opportunity to burn that wonderful kid energy in a safe environment. He was even more engaged on days when he had class after camp. I believe he had tremendous personal growth from this experience. Thank you to all who were involved and helped. He is already talking about next year (even though the last day was yesterday).

When school let out I was trying to determine what would be the best option for her and while she was already enrolled in karate I’d figure she continue to stay there for summer camp to grow closer to her new family and learn new experiences outside of being sat in front of a tv and neglected while an administration just collect money. Here at UMA they are invested in your child and it shows daily with all the unique learning experiences they encounter daily here!

They provide detailed updates about their behavior and performance. I have grown to enjoy seeing this as being a side hobby for my daughter, to evolving to a second family and tight knit community.
