Camp: Destination ("Camp: D") is a summer day camp in Chandler, Arizona, held at its own stated facility, Temple Beth Sholom of the East Valley at 3400 N Dobson Road, and has been making memories since 2015. It is accredited by the American Camping Association (ACA) and serves campers entering Kindergarten through 12th Grade, including a Leader-in-Training (L.I.T.) program for high schoolers entering 10th-12th Grade. Camp programming runs 8:45AM-3:15PM, with Beforecare (7:30AM-8:45AM) and Aftercare (3:15PM-5:00PM) offered for additional fees. Enrollment is week-to-week only, from a minimum of one week up to all eight summer weeks; the camp does not offer daily enrollment. Campers choose their own morning activities and travel through rotations including art, drama, sports, cooking, team-building, robotics, Jiu-Jitsu and group games. Lunch and snack are not provided and must be brought from home. The camp states that everyone is welcome and that a few special camp elements showcase Jewish life, with religious programming rooted in Jewish culture and values. A 10% sibling discount and a discretionary scholarship fund for campers who qualify based on financial need are offered. All registered campers are billed a one-time, non-refundable $55 registration fee to secure enrollment, charged in addition to the weekly camp rates.
