MoezArt Productions is a Phoenix nonprofit offering theatre education in a Christ-honoring environment. Its Performing Arts Summer Camp for ages 8-13 packs two weeks with acting, singing, dancing, games, and beginning music theory (learning the recorder), culminating in a production. Weekly classes are also offered for teens ages 14-18.

★★★★★Misty RIt’s a lot of work and rehearsals and my kids aren’t even wanting a main role, just “extras” if you will, with limited speaking. They complained a ton. There were tears and threats to quit because theater suddenly wasn’t a great idea. Then came tech week, a week that will be suppressed in future therapy sessions. Miraculously, we survived this too. Did we forget lines? Yes. Did we freeze and forget to get on stage once? Also yes. Did we hate our costumes? Rest assured. Did we perform with a bunch of kids that we have come to love? Yessiree! Did we have so much fun we made Grandma cry and blow us kisses during our intense funeral scene? Yup! And now, all is said and done, do they want to sign up for the torture again? One million percent. They learned a ton, the teamwork and camaraderie was incredible. The shows were fantastic. The special touch was all the kind words from other actors at the end. As a none-theater mom it felt a bit overwhelming. It is a drop off program, which was kinda new for us. My phone doesn’t always like to open the Google Sheets and docs that they send, and that was a bit of a challenge. I hope the video of the performance is great. I wish we could take pictures here and there but it’s not allowed. Overall though, very very happy with the end results. My friends even came back with more friends to watch the final performance! It was so good, non-parents came twice! Thanks for the memories! 5 stars all the way. The kids were ecstatic about the performance.

The friendships they made and the life skills they learned were priceless. They have since graduated high school but continue to participate in their Community Theater. Both my husband and I love the community of other parents as well. I highly recommend getting involved. It will forever be a highlight.

Fast Forward to 2023 when my younger 6 children started Moezart. Again the friendships that have been developed has been great. The Directors have pushed my kids to be their absolute best. I am now a Director for MiniMoez because the community is still the best. Relationships aren’t just for the kids. We adults have formed amazing relationships too, with other directors and parents.
