Freestone Recreation Center runs Kidz Kamp, a Town of Gilbert full-day summer camp for ages 5-13 operating Monday-Friday 8am-5pm through the summer and school breaks. Days feature physical activities, games, arts, crafts, music, and science projects; campers bring their own sack lunch.

★★★★★Wojciech PrzeczkowskiThis recreaton center is actuall pretty good. They have a running track that circles the building. A good variety of weight machines in the gym areas. There are treadmills too. Not too crowded (on a Sat afternoon). They have a climbing wall too. There's a sauna and a steam room and both are clean and work well. The locker rooms are clean although the showers can use a mid day cleaning. People are friendly and I was able to sign up for a membership quickly and got 10 free buddy tickets. Overall A+++++ so far.
