Powered by GoogleI had a great time visiting this spot to get some exercise and enjoy the fresh air. The library inside is really modern and quiet, which made it a perfect place to sit down and catch up on some reading for a while. I also checked out the pool area and the gym, and everything looked very clean and well-kept for everyone to use. It is a wonderful space for the neighborhood because there is so much to do, from sports to just hanging out in the common areas. My only small complaint was that it was a bit crowded in the afternoon, but that just shows how much people enjoy being there.
The Deanwood Community Center facilities are well equipped. The recreational center, library, and other spaces within the Community center are well designed, equipped, and managed for optimal Community events and experience for residents and visitors.
I recently joined this center because I love to swim. The pool was nice and warm. James was pleasant and showed me around. Denise the safeguard was pleasant and patient with me. I would recommend joining here. I dont live in DC so I had to pay a small fee. $31 for 30 days. Im sure I'll increase it to yearly soon.
Today 6/17/22 the slide is closed and the waterfalls are not in service today. Last week the middle section of the pool was closed because the floor was peeling, Now Was it fixed? I don't know because today it's open. Why are the waterfalls not on? When will the slides be in service? And will the floors be fixed this fall or winter?
