★★Erica MatsunoPros: -Relatively cheap compared to other dance studios Cons: -Studio is on the 2nd floor of an old school but height-wise feels more like a third floor, no elevators -Building is very old and smells mildewy any time it rains -Studio floors are very dirty and muddy during the winter/rain -8 hour mandatory rehearsal (we attended 4 hours and my kids were still cut out of the finale because we couldn’t attend the entire 8). Most of the time you sit around and wait and do nothing. -Professional dance photos and recital video are poor quality and take very long to receive -Costumes are cheap materials and needed a hole sewn, (after arriving very late in the season), but still expensive -Technologically behind-does not accept credit cards and you must register for classes in person, does not have online software system for payment/receipt/registration -Prizes received are used items. My kid won expired food and candy and musty smelling stuffed animals and decorations for a contest she won. -Preaches Christianity, not solely dance. Other religions/walks of life may feel uncomfortable when their kid gets a Jesus themed activity from dance class.
