Powered by GoogleWe started at a small dance studio for 7 years then the pandemic hit. After that we found Dance Academy USA. My daughter has been dancing for DAU for 5 years now. This studio has challenged her and she has grown so much to be a better dancer and person. I wish I had moved her to this studio sooner. The teachers and staff are all wonderful. If there is any concerns addressed they do their best to resolve it. When greeting on phone, I believe they should say their name first so It sounds more welcoming. And not so stiff sounding. Especially, since the person on the other end of phone probably doesn't know how sweet the office staff are.
My daughter is in her third year dancing at DAU! She absolutely loves it. DAU has a staff of well trained dancers ready to help dancers ofa any level, from beginners through kids and older teens looking to take their skills to the next level with competitions. My daughter started with a ballet/jazz combo class and is now taking four classes per week. We love DAU!
We love DAU! Our daughter started dancing here since she was 4 years old, and not only did she fall in love with dancing, she fell in love with the DAU community. She tried a variety of dance classes and even when they weren't the perfect fit, the teachers were supportive. Our son tried out dancing, while we realized it wasn't his hobby, he kept trying because he had a fun and supportive teacher. My daughter also entered the Performance Team and continues to thrive! She's not only improved in her dance skills, she's increased in confidence, making friendships, and learned about teamwork. We are so grateful for the teachers and staff. They genuinely care and are talented at their craft. Highly recommend DAU!
We’ve been sending our daughter’s to DAU for the past 5 years. It’s easily their favorite after school activity. DAU has incredible teachers and staff! Highly recommend it for parents who are looking for a dance studio.
Our experience that its a total waste of time and money. You will realize after a years of learning your child only ends up learning a basic steps that anyone can learn watching youtube tutorials. The only thing is that your child gets stage performance option but in that also costume is really expensive and basic, you would have to buy tickets for your child’s performance and can’t click pictures of performance you have to buy that again spending extra bucks, all this after paying for classes which doesn’t teach much. Overall in my experience it’s just a business for them, you will realize eventually after years of learning your child has only learnt basic steps. Talking about ballet, it also doesn’t give great exercise to your kid if one wants to see from that perspective as kid are spending about an hour there. It’s not worth your time+money+fuel+all other costs that I mentioned above, honestly reviewing.
