Powered by GoogleWe have had an excellent experience with Cyan Swim School over the past four years. My child started here when she was very young, and the progress she has made has been incredible. The instructors are patient, knowledgeable, and truly care about each swimmer’s development and confidence in the water. Thanks to the consistent support and high quality instruction at Cyan Swim School, my daughter has grown into a strong, confident swimmer and has now made it onto a swim team. We are so grateful for the positive environment and dedication of the staff. I highly recommend Cyan Swim School to any family looking for outstanding swim instruction.
Our experience with this swimming academy has been extremely disappointing. The owner repeatedly made commitments — such as placing our child on a waiting list for a suitable instructor — but later contradicted those promises. Communication is inconsistent, and the staff often seem to have no clarity or control over decisions. They removed our child’s only good instructor without any notice to parents and replaced her with a student instructor and argued when we raised concerns. Most of the instructors appear very young . For the high fees charged, the quality of instruction is far below expectations. We invested months with no meaningful progress due to poor management and follow-through.
I am extremely disappointed with the customer service at Cyan Swim Academy. My two children had their classes repeatedly canceled due to instructor unavailability, yet we were still charged for the entire month’s membership. We signed up for membership specifically for swim classes, and when classes were not provided for three consecutive weeks, we requested a refund. Instead, we were given an unfair “adjustment” at the private lesson rate, which still placed the burden of their shortcomings on us. It is not about the money after a point, it's about how much they care for their customers. The lack of accountability and consideration for the inconvenience caused by repeated cancellations, multiple calls, and constant rescheduling is unacceptable. As a result, we stopped attending classes immediately and have begun advising our friends and family to avoid this academy. It is disappointing to learn—too late—that other customers have had similar experiences. We wish we had checked those reviews beforehand. Dealing with a place that shows such disregard for its customers has been frustrating and disheartening.
Cyan has been great! Our son has gone from totally scared of water to always wanting to go swimming. Some of the teachers are so-so but it's easy to switch to another teacher who fits better with your kid's learning style. The high school kids are better for more advanced swimmers. I'd def go for one of the adult teachers if you have a beginner. My only gripe about the swim center is that there's only 1 family bathroom. On the off chance that my husband can't take our son to swim class, I have to get him out of the pool ASAP and fast walk (no running by the pool!) to the family bathroom so he isn't shivering in the hallway for 15min. If your kid is 6+, definitely try to schedule so that a same gender guardian can take them to shower after the lesson!
My daughter has been swimming with Cyan on and off for a long time. I liked the clean environment and friendly instructors. The owner has put a lot of effort to make this a enjoyable place to learn swimming and enjoy the water! The water is very warm. The schedule is flexible. They have many good instructors. You can get a chance to select the instructors that works best for your kids. A very good place to learn swimming!
