Extremely disappointing experience. My son had an emotional moment during a baseball game, and the way the situation in the dugout was handled by the coach was completely inappropriate. I raised the concern with the league on October 17 and provided a full, detailed account. Over the next few weeks I followed up several times asking for a simple acknowledgment or conversation. I never received a meaningful response. They quite literally swept it under the rug. My 12-year-old ended up deciding he didn’t want to return specifically because of how the situation was handled, and the league showed zero interest in even discussing it. I understand these are volunteers, but ignoring parents and sweeping issues under the rug is not how you run a youth sports organization. If you’re looking for a league that communicates, supports kids, and takes concerns seriously, I would look elsewhere.

Do not play football with CFSA unless your child is naturally gifted at it and you have taught them how to play before they get on a team or you are prepared to coach. Otherwise your child will not play and not learn anything. We tried flag football with my five year old and he was allowed to play at most 15 out of 80 snaps. If you complain you will just be told “the coaches are volunteers”. I’m not sure what being a volunteer coach has to do with allowing 12 of 17 kids play 80 to 90 percent of a game and sitting 5 players on the bench for the majority of the game. The team also wasn’t good and lost with the 12 that played all the time so that wasn’t the difference either. Also it doesn’t cost $175, it’s about $500 all in once you buy everything and “fundraiser” additional amounts so be prepared for that as well.

This organization has a lot growing to do. Positive - 1.Fields are nice 2. Family’s and other players are sweet 3. Games are on time 4. Schedule is nice. Neg 1. They cancel practice a lot if it rains and is managed by teenagers 2. Coaching is lacking heavily. They hire kids from college - a lot of no shows 3. They don’t explain to the kids what to do during the game 4. Communication is horrible from management

Nice place for baseball tournament. No power outlets any where just FYI and only 2 fields have night time lights. Great place for practice.
