This is not gonna be your normal everyday review of a place, but more about the people... im here attending scout school to become a climbing director and got really sick. As soon as I mentioned I wasn't feeling good they jumped into action to help me feel better asap... they got me to a wellness center down in town and go to find out I got bronchitis. So when I got back to the camp they did everything they could to make sure I was comfortable and not running out of breath again... these people, let alone the place is absolutely amazing and im happy to be here. Here's to a better few next days hopefully...

Great experience for scouts (and adult leaders joining them). Multiple options for the experience - cook your own food or mess hall - and lots of activities for the Scouts. Camp sites are fairly well maintained and as comfortable as you'd expect.

One of the better scout camps around. We’ve been going for years and it’s always pretty excellent and the kids love it. Most scouts complete 4-5 merit badges for the week and meet a lot of new friends. The executive director of the council is always available for a chat and the rangers are attentive to making improvements.

Overall I felt very safe with my son at this camp. The director and his staff knew just about everything that was going on inside and kept the cars from speeding down any of the roads and kept a great job of keeping track of anyone. The waterfront director was exactly how you hope he would be at a place like this. he wouldn't let the adults or children bend the rules and his objective was to let everyone have fun while keeping them safe. My son loved the camp and can't wait to go back.
