Cultural Arts Council Douglasville | Douglas County
Private
The Cultural Arts Council of Douglasville/Douglas County runs several week-long summer arts camps for ages 6-12 from its downtown Douglasville center. The main Summer Arts Camp runs 9am-4pm for a week at Hunter Park and combines art and theater around a single theme; a Summer Sampler camp (10am-3pm) gives campers a different art form each day - painting, drawing, sculpture, dance, singing, acting and sewing - each taught by a different teacher. Other weeks include a West African dance camp (10am-2pm) and a movie-making camp (9am-3:30pm). Fees run about $145 per week with member and sibling discounts.

It was the perfect place for my daughter’s little orphan Annie party. The kids had a ball.
We had a great time at a wedding this weekend and can’t wait to come back soon!
I really enjoyed it. A beautiful oasis of beauty and tranquility. I loved all of the watercolor paintings but only took pictures of one artist. Different kind of paper yields different results. The color was liquid and 3 d. It captured the movement of the sea animals and water.
