Csehy Summer School of Music is a Christian overnight (residential) music camp held on the campus of Cairn University in Langhorne, where campers live in dorms with counselors. Every camper plays in a major ensemble - concert band, symphony orchestra, string orchestra, handbells or choir - rehearsing 75 minutes daily toward a full concert at the end of each week, and receives two half-hour private lessons per week plus daily theory class placed by test. The high school program (grades 9-12) runs three Sunday-to-Saturday weeks and campers may attend one, two or all three; the middle school program (grades 6-8) is a six-day session. Days begin with chapel and end with an evening hymn-sing, and campers practice 1.5-2 hours daily on their major instrument.
