Music Mountain Theatre in Lambertville runs summer theater camps for children ages 3-16, grouped into age bands such as Fairytales and Fables (5-7), From Page to Stage (8-11) and Comedy Improv (10-16). Campers adapt written stories into original performances through acting workshops, musical numbers, choreography and collaborative storytelling. ★★Lauren McLaughlinThis is a lovely little venue. You can tell the kids work hard and are very talented and passionate about performing. It may be worth doing your research before taking young children to see a show here and maybe calling and asking about how appropriate a show might be for little ones. I took mine to see Robin Hood, which was nothing like the real story. Instead, there was a noticeable focus on gender and sexuality…. Topics I have not yet discussed with my young children in any real detail yet and don’t plan to any time soon. But this has raised some questions from them.

I love how the owner of the theatre includes disabled people by giving them opportunities to shine on the stage, as well as having translators during the show for deaf people so they too can enjoy. It's a nice family friendly theatre and look forward to checking out more plays they plan to have featured here.

★★★★★Amy JensenThis was our first time going to see a show at Music Mountain Theatre. I didn't know it existed until an ad popped up about their Sweeney Todd performances. I immediately bought tickets because it's my favorite musical. I was nervous about parking before we arrived but the theatre has it's own parking lot so it was not an issue at all. The sell snacks and drinks there as well. The costumes, acting, singing, special effects, lighting were all amazing! So much so that I bought a ticket to see this show again and I'm I plan to get a subscription for next season.
