Voorhees Theatre Company's Summer Theatre Program is a six-week musical theater camp for students entering 3rd through 8th grade, running Monday to Thursday from 9:00am to 3:00pm. Campers spend half of each day in workshops on stage, dance and vocal training taught by local experts, and the other half rehearsing a fully produced musical with professional sets, lighting and costumes. The 2026 program runs June 22 to August 1 with more than 130 children staging Dear Edwina Jr. at the Raymond J. Brosel Performing Arts Center. VTC is a nonprofit community theatre, and resident and non-resident tuition differ.

She is a shy kid and not only did she make friends that she still keeps in contact with over the years, participating in the workshops has made her come out of her shell and feel confident on stage. The camp counselors are so nice and good to the campers- my daughter can't wait to become one! It's truly fascinating how over the course of just a month, VTC can produce such a high-quality musical with children. The productions have always been top-notch, well-choreographed, every kid is on-task, and the singing and acting are always on point. The costumes are classy and the set is always well-constructed and designed professionally. I truly can't say enough good things about VTC summer camp! I HIGHLY recommend it to any kid interested in theatre!

The amount of love, dedication and professionalism poured by the staff is out of this world. My daughter is a very creative person and this program not only let her expressed all that energy, it was canalized with a lot of workshops that help her find something new to love and learn. I was so genuinely impressed when I saw the first presentation of the play as everything and everyone was so well put together. Also I must add that all the other kids there were so nice. it was such a great space for them. I highly recommend the VTC for both children and adults that love to watch theater.
