My daughter participated in a week long theatre camp and it was well worth the investment. Her confidence by day two just walking in the door and her love for theatre, music and dance were ignited with a fury. She learned some really great foundational techniques to build off of and had so much fun. This is not a baby sitting studio, they learn real life skill and are celebrated fully. Creative Space Katy is fantastic!

The classes at Creative Space Katy are AMAZING!! I have always wanted to take ballet but did not have the opportunity until my kids were all in school. I am so thankful to have found Creative Space Katy! I have LOVED my experience in the adult beginner ballet class led by Sammy! She is a very clear, knowledgeable, and patient teacher. The class is challenging, fun, and affordable! Even after one month I felt stronger and more graceful. One of my daughter’s took a dance intensive and learned so much. She is looking forward to attending summer camp. I am so excited that we have Creative Spaces Katy in our community-offering affordable theatre and dance opportunities for all ages! I was searching for adult dance classes near Katy, and I was so excited to find Creative Space Katy. They offer all-levels, all-ages dance classes including jazz, ballet, tap, and (my fave) musical theater jazz. Who is this for? Creative Space Katy has classes for all ages, from young children to high schoolers. But as an adult, I especially recommend this studio to anyone who misses their “theater kid” days or wants a fun, supportive way to get back into dance (or get into it for the first time!). The choreography classes are challenging enough to give you a great workout while still being approachable. The instructors are patient, encouraging, and take time to explain the techniques (lots of French words for things you can do with your legs apparently). Pricing & flexibility The pricing is very reasonable for adult dance classes, with a good variety of options (Stretch & Strength classes, tap, ballet, jazz, sometimes acting). If you don’t see a class that fits your schedule, reach out. I've found they’re receptive to feedback and growing their adult program. Studio vibe The space has a nostalgic, black-box theater feel that makes classes even more enjoyable. Bring water. You’ll definitely get a good sweat in. Overall verdict If you’re looking for adult dance classes in Katy, this is a fantastic option. It’s a welcoming environment for all skill levels, a great workout, and a fun way to reconnect with your inner theater kid. I’d love to see even more adults join. I'm a clumsy dancer who laughs at my mistakes, and I think that's the joy of taking dance at this age.

I love how thoughtfully designed the space is. As a mom of three little girls, I love that each bathroom has room for a stroller and a changing pad. I can take my whole herd inside for potty and changing before/after a lesson if needed. I also love that all three studio spaces have HD audio and video recording with no blind spots, and that I can access the video footage live only during their class times on an app that takes my child’s privacy seriously. (No screen shots allowed). The staff have all been kind and patient with all my kids - even when little sisters try to infiltrate big sisters lessons - and I am so thankful how safe my kids feel expressing themselves here. I also LOVED my Adult Jazz Class with Ms Victoria - she made movement super accessible and fun even though I hadn’t taken a class in years!
