The kids enjoyed themselves. Not enough seats though, many families had nowhere to sit in the shade. I feel like many more shaded areas could be added.

Today when deciding on where I wanted to take my children ages 11,13,16 to go swimming, Collins Hill Aquatic Center was my first choice. For years we have been coming. Due to my psoriasis there are times I am unable to swim with my children but sit and watch without being charged to do so. Today was different. Today I was told on quote “if I step on the pool deck I will have to charge you.” Mind you there are bleachers and seats to sit so that you can watch your children. I was told I had to sit on the benches in the lobby all while they went inside. I am a teacher so was hoping to get some lesson planning done as well while they played. Needless to say I was taken back and expressed that this was a change for sure and was unaware of the change. Not sure how I feel about being charged to sit on bleachers inside the pool area.

People are great but that freaking cold pool water and shower are just unbelievable. Especially the shower water is very inconsistent and cold. No hair blow dryer, and you can see old guys drying their body parts with the hand dryers on the wall…

Love visiting the Collins Hill Aquatic Center. It feels like such a gem 😀 Only $5/visit. There are frequently classes, so the number of lanes can sometimes be limited. But it is always a great time swimming here. Also, they keep the locker rooms and the showers so warm. I love washing off here, even in the winter!

Nice pool. Did not explore to much but the water was clean and it was a spacious pool to swim. There are lap lanes, diving boards and starting boards for competitive swimming. There are lots of classes happening. Rules are posted for everyone to see and the overall maintenence of the pool seemed to be excellent. The lifeguards seemed to do an excellent job watching the pool.
