Powered by GoogleCollective Dance Artistry has been a positive place for my daughter. The staff cares about their dancers, pushing them to grow as both artists and people. The training is excellent and the teachers are dedicated to helping every student reach their best. It’s a studio that truly values hard work, commitment, and community.
After being at Collective Dance Artistry studio for the past 10 years, I can confidently say that the values that brought us there so long ago are still in place today: modesty, professionalism, classical training, and a commitment to excellence! I still remember the first day we trialed a class when my daughter was only 4 years old. She had so much fun and Miss Emily was a gem! Fast forward 10 years later through many different ups and downs, challenges and successes: my daughter’s growth as a dancer and as an individual would not have been the same without the experience of her “Collective Dance Family.” We are so grateful for the education, experience and support of the community we found at Collective.
Collective is a wonderful studio for all ages and all talents. Their staff is amazing and the teachers/choreographers are extremely talented. I highly recommend this studio if you are in the San Antonio area.
I'm not one to generally leave reviews but I wouldn't recommend enrolling your child here. We've had a lot of issues with scheduling which is my biggest complaint. My child couldn't take all the classes they were interested in due to conflicts with classes overlapping. The recommendation was then to move to a different day for that class or a lower level. It makes it inconvenient when you don't want to spend every waking hour there and just wish the schedule aligned better with no conflicts. It was uncovered that one person creates the schedule. And that one person's child has a perfect schedule that aligns with no conflicts or large gaps between classes. It's frustrating as a customer to see that. It is possible to coordinate the schedule better without late nights, early mornings or large hours long gaps between classes but only if you are the one benefitting from it. My recommendation to the owner is to have someone in charge of the schedule that isn't directly benefiting from it.
We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Collective Dance, Artistry, and Helotes! From the moment we walked in, the energy was welcoming, professional, and inspiring. The instructors are not only incredibly talented but also genuinely care about each dancer’s growth — both technically and personally. My child has gained so much confidence, discipline, and joy through dance here. It truly feels like a second home. If you’re looking for a studio that values artistry, community, and excellence, this is the place
