Carver is a really nice theater. I saw Swan Lake. Chairs comfy. Art pieces adorn the walls and other spaces and are for sale, so it's very cool. Location is near downtown. Plenty of parking. On the downside tho, this is a theater with balcony seating, but there are only 3 stalls of toilets in the ladies lounge. You can imagine the line at intermission. There are no snacks or drinks allowed in the theater and none sold. Eat before or after.

So much history in this renovated back history library and theater. Built in 1929, now ran by the city. The theatre, dressing rooms, green room, sight and sound are all beautiful. It is a must visit and see for yourself. So happy we visited it while on vacation. Mr Javier Montayo is an excellent tour guide. He gave us one of the best and most informative tours we have had ever. Thank you, Javier. Admission is free. Donations can be made online. I will donate once I get home. Awesome place.
