Code Ninjas Burke runs week-long summer coding camps for kids ages 5 to 14 at its centre on Old Keene Mill Road. Camps are themed around game development, robotics, Roblox, Minecraft and YouTube, with campers building real projects under instructors the company calls Code Senseis. Sessions run Monday to Friday as half-days, 9am-12pm or 12:30-3:30pm, at $250 per week; both halves can be booked for a full day with a packed lunch, and paid early drop-off (8-9am) and late pick-up (3:30-5pm) are each $60 a week.
The practical details

Powered by GoogleCode Ninjas programs are stimulating and fun! My child has enjoyed the classes for 4 years. They encourage problem solving and creativity. Highly recommend!
This place is awesome. My 7-year-old son loves it, and it has actually made him interested in learning to read better. At the end of each session, he gets to show us what he built. Sometimes, the little things he makes can be accessed outside of class as well. It's really fun for him!
My 8-year old is really enjoying Code Ninjas. He attended in person from January to March, but then Covid hit, and we have been participating online since then. Code Ninjas has the BEST senseis! The ones we had in person and the ones we have online are just so knowledgeable and patient!! Absolutely love how the kids are allowed to communicate so freely! With my son’s adhd, I’m constantly shushing him because he often speaks out of term, but I don’t have to do that too much with Code Ninjas and it eases my anxiety. I love that my son is having fun learning. Thank you for offering such an awesome and valuable skill in a kid friendly way!
This is by far the best STEM program I've found in the Burke area. The owner is amazing, the facility and environment are top-class, and it's a very good value. My 7-year old is in the after-school drop-in program, and he goes twice a week for an hour each time. He's been going 5 months and he's already up to using a professional programming language called JavaScript. On the surface he's building games, but he's actually learning logic, math, critical thinking, and basic computer science concepts. There's also a good website to track his progress and see the projects he's built.
Wonderful place! My 7 year old has done their coding camps, and wow we are so impressed! This small business is filling a real need in Burke- for STEM learning for children in an engaging, exciting, well-structured environment. I am thrilled to hear they’re opening a program for younger children in 2020, and look forward to signing up my son. Top notch place with wonderful owners and great instructors!
