Our sons love the baseball camp! The head coaches are great teachers, fun, inclusive, and totally dedicated to the kids. We will do it again for the third summer.

We loved Tennis Camp at Sidwell Summer. The instructors are wonderful, and it is a well run camp. My son had so much fun that he has asked to go for even longer next summer. Fun fact, I went to Sidwell Tennis camp when I was little too ◡̈. They have tons of different camps depending on your child's interest as well.

Our kids have really enjoyed both the Discovery Camp (when they were ages 5-9) and the specialty camps - fiber arts, woodworking, tennis, young diplomats, candy-making. Staff are really engaged and on top of things, and our kids adore them. It’s been easy to line up camps for our kids different interests - with makes summer days easier!

My children have attended Sidwell Summer for 4 years (spanning both pre- and post-Covid) and have loved it each time! It is one of the camps they continue to ask to return to - the perfect balance of learning and fun in a very supportive environment. They’ve explored a variety of offerings on both the DC and Bethesda campuses, including the traditional day camp, tennis, soccer, baseball, legos, coding, and young diplomats. And from a parent’s perspective it couldn’t be easier! The staff are extremely responsive and try to be flexible (having to pick a kid up early one day for an appointment, switching weeks or offerings, etc). The logistics of drop-off and pick-up are clearly laid out and easy to navigate. And with such a variety of offerings (including AM, afternoon, and full day), it is a particularly great one-stop option for families with multiple children. I couldn’t recommend it more highly!
