Our son has been going to the after-school Panda Program for two years. He loves it! The instructor is knowledgeable, patient, and attentive. They have taught the fundamental skills for kids to understand computer programming. We have noticed that our son has expanded his computer skills and developed the basic understanding to build a computer workflow for executing tasks. Other team members are also very helpful and supportive. They are accommodating our changes in scheduling and also provided made up classes when kids are missing due to sickness.

We heard about Panda Programmer through an MCPS flyer from my youngest's elementary school. He was interested in coding (with some experience) and it seemed like a way to spend a week. My 9 year old twins have been attending Panda Programmer since summer of 2022. They loved it so much that they opted to enroll in the after-school coding class offered by Panda at their school as well. I have honestly been surprised at how engaged and interested in coding my kids have been as they can tend to lose interest in new activities quickly. They often log into their coding accounts at home to show me what they're working on. I owe this to how well the program is run- the teachers are all very nice and truly make coding interesting and exciting for young kids. Panda programmer is here to stay for my family for the foreseeable future. My kids will be re-enrolled for their summer camp and for the coming school year.
