Code Ninjas is a national coding-center franchise whose summer camps teach kids ages 5 to 14 to program through game-building themes such as Roblox, Minecraft, YouTube and LEGO Spike Prime robotics engineering. Camps run Monday through Friday as half-day sessions, either 9:00 a.m. to noon or 12:30 to 3:30 p.m., and families can book both blocks back to back for a full day; weekly tuition is about $250 for a single half-day camp, or $225 per block when both are taken. He looked forward to getting up and going everyday and was always upset when we showed up at the end of the day because he "didn't have enough time." If I had a complaint it's only that we asked for information on a membership (or any sort of continued program) and never received it. Marketing doesn't seem to be their strong suit, which is unfortunate because I believe a lot more children could benefit from a program like this.
