Both my children LOVE Code Ninjas. Great place for kids to learn, have fun, and realize their full capabilities. The staff is super friendly and great with the kids. They are also very flexible to work with if you need to make up an hour or two from previous weeks. We also just participated in a STEM night at the Norfolk Admirals game. The owner of Code Ninjas Chesapeake was very kind to purchase the tickets for the families that attended; my children even got to help out at the code ninjas booth. Great experience! Thank you code ninjas for giving my children a place to have fun, while also learning a great skill!

Great place to help the kids learn or enhance their coding skills while gaming. There are a lack of quality gaming programming opportunities for kids in the area and we happened to stumble across this one. We had a free consultation and my gamer kid has now been there about 7 months. He already had python skills but he’s gotten significantly better. We’re not locked into a contract and the session scheduling flexibility is very accommodating. The staff responds quickly and are very friendly. Give it a try and have you kids give you feedback.

My 9 year old was enrolled in the Roblox camp. At 12:59 am the day her camp started we received an email to tell us that waivers and roblox accounts needed to be set up unless they had an existing one then the code ninjas would need access to username and password. Luckily I check my email before I leave for work or else none of this would have been done. After the first day of camp my child came home crying because she was frustrated whoever(young kids) was "teaching" them wasn't really explaining it well enough for her to understand and while some kids had built an entire house she only had 2 walls. She overheard them tell one child that was struggling "well just do your best" so she didn't feel she could ask for help. They also ordered and ate pizza in front of all the children who are required to bring their lunch. We encouraged her to go back the next day and the rest of the week she advised me they barely did any learning but instead they just played roblox all day. I certainly didn't pay that amount of money for a babysitter. My child could have played on a computer at home. Will not be back or recommend this glorified babysitting service.

Sensei's are great, my daughter thoroughly enjoyed the Minecraft camp. Everyday she was excited to tell us all about what she made. It's a good place if your child likes games to learn more and create their own games through coding.
