Clear Lake Grace Brethren Camp

I go to a Winter Retreat here every February and have done so for many years with my youth group and many others youth groups. It’s amazing, the frozen over lake is beautiful! The frozen hills to through the cabins is so fun too. We spent hours sliding down and crawling back up just to do it again.

Mid place, went to winter camp there. Very old, can seem eerie with all the picture frames and old photos in the cafeteria. The lodge is ok. The bathrooms are so bad. The stalls are super short, the showers are disgusting, there’s mold and the shower head doesn’t even have a shower head, it’s just a pipe that blasts water. It’s not really hard to take care of those issues. But I’m sure inspection doesn’t even go around that area.

We had a few church camps here and the experience was great! Some of the cabins are a bit dated, but the variety of amenities make up for it. Great for winter camps and White Pass is nearby go snowboarding and skiing.

I attended this camp clear back in the mid-80s. It warms my heart to know that it is still a Grace Brethren’s Christian camp and is still looks exactly the same. I have so many fond memories at this camp. I went every year to camp and snow camp. From the photos it is exciting to see that God has not let the change of time, technology or whatever else the change of time normally brings with it change how this incredible wonderful camp has not changed with it. I honestly miss this camp I cried every time I had to leave as I have never been happier then when I was there.

Clean, organized, well run, excellent staff. Many cabins, sufficient restrooms, beautiful dock & fire pit area, wonderful chapel, perfect little kitchen & dining hall. Great gym with plenty of activities like foose ball, rock climbing, ping pong, basketball. Great location for group getaways!
