Tall Timber is a Presbyterian-rooted Christian camp and retreat centre on the White River outside Leavenworth, whose youth camp is YILT (Youth in Leadership Training), a residential session for students in grades 9-12 that combines worship, Bible study and leadership training with the property's adventure activities - a climbing wall, 900-foot zip line, low ropes course, giant swing and 45-foot cat walk - plus a 24-hour solo experience and closing service projects. The 2026 session ran July 19-30, was capped at 12 students, cost $795 with scholarships available, and required an approved application before registering. Outside its own camps the 155-bed site hosts family camps and church group retreats rather than open-enrolment kids' weeks; the kitchen is peanut-free.

Powered by GoogleI spent many summer's and winter's at TTR, my first experience was long before I could remember as I wasn't even 1 year old the first time my parents brought me to camp. I continued going for the next 30 plus year's. It has always been a safe haven for me and a place I learned so much about God. I definitely recommend giving it a chance.
Very nice place! In winter time it is beautiful! Nice cabins and fireplaces!
Our "Warrior of Faith" motorcycle ministry group just came back from 4 days in the biggest cabin. We had 13 people and everyone had an amazing time. We enjoyed quality time with the group and alone. We cooked meals, watched the snow fall, went into Leavenworth to shop and eat, played games, drank hot chocolate, did puzzles and colored. The staff was right there, making sure we had everything we needed, which was greatly appreciated. The roads were plowed and the parking lot and sidewalks. Highly recommended! 🥰🥰🥰🎅🎅🎅
Awe inspiring vistas and tranquil spiritual respite during Covid times. Sad that the camp wasn't full of children in the beautiful summertime, but it was an incredible opportunity to enjoy being there at peak season.
I went here for a wedding and it was the most beautiful camp I have ever been to. So lovely.
