Powered by Googlethank you so much for your dedication, hard work, and constant support in helping Liz Jimenez progress in her classes and get ready for first grade. We truly appreciate everything you do. We would also like to thank the entire school for their excellent work and professionalism in supporting Hispanic children. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Family Jimenez
My kids are doing so absolutely well here and they’re happy to come to school everyday! My son says he actually gets help when he doesn’t understand something which is the way it should be! The staff really cares about the kids. Grateful for this school!
My kids absolutely love going to Community Learning Center. My son was scared about going to a new group but he took to it right away. For the first time he's asking when he can go to school.
Save your money — and more importantly, your child’s education — do NOT send your kids to this institution. CLC presents itself as offering small class sizes and individualized attention. In reality, they group multiple grade levels (such as 4th through 8th) into a single classroom, but don't think that there is a teacher for each grade. The student to ACTUAL teacher ratio is very misleading. Some of teaching staff is not certified or formally qualified. Because it's a private school, they aren't required to hire licensed educators — and they don’t. Students are handed workbooks to complete on their own, with help available only if they ask for it. Imagine expecting an 8-year-old to teach themselves math by reading instructions in a workbook. If your child isn’t highly self-motivated and independent, they will fall behind — sometimes by several grade levels. There is no homework, so as a parent you are completely in the dark about what your child is learning — or NOT learning. You may be told they’re “doing great,” while they’re actually struggling with basic core subjects. And if you're expecting a well-rounded education, don’t. Science and history are covered vaguely, without any structured curriculum. PE is almost non-existent, there are few enrichment opportunities, and not even a school-provided lunch. On top of the academic shortcomings, the school’s communication is abysmal. There is no online portal for grades or attendance (even thought it's continuously promised), and getting basic records is like pulling teeth. It’s disorganized and inconsistent. I could say so much more but I will leave you with this. CLC markets itself well, but the reality is smoke and mirrors. If you value quality education, structure, and transparency, I strongly urge you to look elsewhere for the sake of your children.
Clearwater Learning Center is an incredible school and tutoring center. My son who is eight has been attending this school and every day when I pick him up he is very happy and tells me what a great day he had! He reads every day, does geography and math and other interesting activities as well as play outside. The faculty are incredible and the director take special care to make sure that my son is fully winning in all areas. I highly recommend the school and it's tutoring center as well for your children.
