Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department
Private
Clarksville Parks and Recreation runs the city's Summer Youth Program, a weekly day camp for children 6-15 held at city recreation centers Monday-Friday, 9am to 3pm, through June and early July. Each center serves a specific age group, and days are filled with age-appropriate games, sports, arts and crafts and enrichment activities. The program is sold in two three-week sessions at roughly $25 per week, with an automatic sibling discount and financial assistance available to qualifying households inside the city limits. The department also runs pools, athletics and rec centers with gyms, fitness rooms and game rooms.
The practical details
We list only what the camp itself publishes, and programs change — dates, prices, ages and availability can all move after we check. Confirm the details on the camp’s own website and contact Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department directly before you register or pay. Last checked August 2026.

Powered by GoogleMy two boys had the BEST time at Snow Day Camp, and a huge part of that is thanks to Coach Remy and Miss Brittany. From the moment we walked in, both of them created such a welcoming, upbeat atmosphere that my kids felt comfortable right away. Coach Remy brought so much energy and fun to the day — the boys couldn’t stop talking about the games he led and how he made everything feel like an adventure. Instead of a stressful snow day, my boys came home glowing, full of stories, and already asking when they can go back. As a parent, that kind of excitement and trust means everything. Snow Day Camp — and especially Coach Remy and Miss Brittany — turned an unexpected day off into a memory my kids will be talking about for a long time. Highly recommend!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had an amazing experience with the Parks and Rec Snow Day Camp! My son had the best time and came home so happy and excited about his day. The lady at check-in was incredibly kind, the coach was warm and welcoming, and I felt completely comfortable leaving my son in their care. We truly appreciate the opportunity and will absolutely be back for future camps. Thank you for such a wonderful experience! ❄️😊
My son attended the snow day camp today at the crow center & had a blast! When asked how much he loved it from 1-10, he said 11! Michelle was so friendly & welcoming, the coach was wonderful! Made me feel very comfortable leaving my child there. Thanks parks & rec for offering this!! Will definitely be back!
Honestly, never lived at a place where you can’t go on the fields to practice. My son plays soccer, they paid for the fields and because their coach wasn’t with them (in the bathroom) they couldn’t get on the field to kick the ball around. This lady goes around in the golf cart and tells all the kids to get off. Yet she is driving on the fields. This goes for softball, and baseball. There is no where to go and practice with the kids. You can’t even walk across the field or else she will come tell you to walk around. It’s insane. Clarksville, do better! Have a place where kids and adults can go practice without being told to get off the grass.
I can't say enough good things about the Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department! The staff is absolutely amazing—always friendly, helpful, and genuinely passionate about what they do. Whether it’s organizing events, maintaining the parks, or assisting with community programs, their dedication shines through. I recently attended the Fright on Franklin Family Fest and Clarksville Half Marathon event, and it was clear how hard the team works to create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for everyone. The facilities and parks are well-kept, and the variety of programs offered is impressive. Thank you, Clarksville Parks and Recreation, for making our community a better place! Keep up the fantastic work!
