The Clarksville Area YMCA (Kimbrough Family Center) runs a nine-week summer day camp for kids ages 5-12 (kindergarten completed), operating 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Days combine a weekly learning theme with swimming and small-group activities, and free water-safety instruction is offered to campers who don't pass the YMCA swim test.

We list only what the camp itself publishes, and programs change — dates, prices, ages and availability can all move after we check. Confirm the details on the camp’s own website and contact Clarksville Area YMCA directly before you register or pay. Last checked August 2026.

Powered by GoogleAwesome gym. Peaceful and has all amenities. But daycare hours suxk couldn’t keep membership due to it :/
I'm a lifelong swimmer and never have issues with chlorine, but YMCA must have their levels way off. It was overpowering, and I had a significant reaction to it with eye, nasal, and respiratory irritation after just 40 minutes. Front desk was little help. Please check your levels are at a safe and appropriate level.
Really nice pool area and all the employees were very polite. Had a little area for kids with a small slide, some spots to do laps, larger slide for bigger kids that can pass a swim test, and a hot tub.
This is not a place for anyone under the age of 70 with any real fitness goals. It is constantly WAY over crowded with the absolute minimal amount of machines which are also outdated. You can only use the back room for a workout when there isn’t a class, even if you’re not interrupting the class or using any of the same equipment. Even then, there are no mirrors in this room, and you have to walk through the pickle ball court which is also constantly crowded. There are approximately 500 rules that have no purpose. I would LOVE to go to ANY other gym with childcare. Unfortunately there are none in the Sango area that offer it. Stuck going to this terrible over priced place until something else opens in the area.
Great facility and staff, but had to switch gyms do to clientele. Ex: Young woman covered in Indian tattoos, never wipes the equipment down after leaving puddles on the seat and screams "PUMP HOT ONES" with every rep. Clean the place up and I'll come back and give 5 stars.
