I recently completed the adult swim lessons at APSU, and I couldn't be more impressed! At just $85, the program is incredibly affordable, offering exceptional value for the quality of instruction and facilities. Our instructors, Carolina and Gina, were absolutely amazing. Their patience, clear guidance, and encouraging approach made learning to swim a truly enjoyable experience. They fostered a comfortable and supportive environment, which is so important when tackling a new skill. Beyond the lessons themselves, the entire experience was positive. The front desk staff were consistently friendly and helpful, making registration and any inquiries a breeze. Furthermore, the pools are impeccably maintained – clean, warm, and perfect for learning. I highly recommend APSU adult swim lessons to anyone who has never learned to swim and wants to gain confidence and skills in just two weeks. It's a fantastic program for beginners!

Decent if your a student, but I was told I had to use clips or I could get in trouble by a staff member. I had to explain to them that if I was benching by myself and couldn’t get the weight off it wouldn’t be safe to make the weight fall off rather than having it crush me. But they told me it’s the rules and I have to find a stopper. But I lift in the morning when the gym is almost empty. They don’t have student safety in mind! With squats they have safety racks and deadlifts you could just drop the weight. But they don’t have benches that could be safe enough for me to want to use clips! There are countless examples of people getting hurt because the clips restricted them from getting the weight off their necks!

This is a fantastic state-of the art college gym. During my stay at APSU I wish I could have spent more time here. Great facilities, Friendly staff and awesome classes. If I still lived in Clarksville I would still go here as it has all I need.

Doors locked early. When i entered, the staff just stated, "we are closed." Staff seemed like they were ready to just clear out and go home. I had to specifically state what my question was instead of being asked if i needed help. Rules for facility use are not very clearly posted. Submitted photo of summer hours. Grounds seemed well kept, and inside enteance appeared clean. We used the tennis facility. The courts we well lit, court surface is in excellent condition and so are the nets. Will definitely recommend it.

Not a bad college gym. The staff is friendly and will take the time to get to know you. Equipment is usually maintained with only a few out-dated/worn-out pieces of equipment. It can get a bit crowded during peak hours. Would recommend for all sorts of lifters.
